GRATITUDE

GRATITUDE - IS LIKE MUSIC TO THE HEART

GRATITUDE is the Music of the  Heart we play towards those who Help us in one way or other.

It should therefore be Sincere and Personal as possible.

In my Youth days I had a lot of  Friends including many Pen Friends. I remember once I had to sent to a Pen Friend  Abroad a small Gift for her Birthday.

In acknowledgement she sent a phonograph record  which played, when played,  spoke in personal  terms  the GRATITUDE for my little present.

All my Friends including myself appreciated  this unusual proof of thanksgiving.

Nothing is so hurting as the indifference shown by a  Beneficiary or Parrot -like "Thanks", that comes without warmth.

In the Bible for instance we read that Christ cleansed Ten Lepers one and only One came running to Him to Thank Him  And where are the other Nine? asked Christ.

That was indeed Ingratitude on the part of those who  never cared to turn up to Him and Thank Him for the Blessings they received.

It is comforting thought that some  people keep fresh in their minds the favours they receive and persist to show their Gratitude through  life time.

A wife who remembers the Gift her husband has bestowed  on her a Husband who recalls the Love and  Sacrifices his Spouse had made for him, show that both endeavour to keep the Home Wheels Running Smoothly we ought to show our Gratitude in every little thing we are  obliged.

Just a reminder,  Do you for instance Thank your Milkman who brings your milk every morning, the Liftman who carries you up and down, the  Housemaid who cooks and fills your stomach, and the Waiter who waits on you at an Hotel, etc. etc.

Friends - History  however proved that Gratitude is very RARE, but you can find your own reward in Giving. One of the Oldest  complaints in the world said Dale Carnegie is about the Ingratitude  of Children. The bitter Truth is that your children are much what you make of them. If you have never taught them to be  Grateful  to Others,  you can hardly  be surprised if they are Ungrateful to you.

Remember Gratitude is the Music of the Heart and like Music the Player as well as the Listener Enjoys It.

If you conference a benefit never remember it.

If you receive one never forget it.

God Bless.
