Lachet Barfukan.

Know who Lachet Barfukan is? His name is wrapped in the history of the famous Saraighat war. Let's know the story of a brave warrior living far away from the pages of history.

In 1671 the war of Saraighat was between Mughal and Ahm Empire. Which was once located on the bank of the Brahmaputra river, is currently located in Guwahati city. This war is as important on the pages of history, as the fight between Haldighat or Jhansi. Because this fight took place on waterways and grounds.

The Ego Empire was introduced in 1228 AD, and this empire lasted until 1826. The Ahm Empire lasted almost 600 years. The wheel of this empire was rolled by a king named Sukfa. He came from the Shan Province of Myanmar. The place is basically located in the eastern region of Myanmar. They came crossing the Potkai mountain.

This empire expands with time. The ego state expansion was across the coast of Brahmaputra. State capital also changed with time, sometimes Gorgaon, sometimes Jorhat. In the Middle Ages, the kings of the ego kingdom were called, Assam kings. Though the locals would say them chofa. The word means the ruler and the word Fa means heaven. Chauffeur stands if he translates Bengali, the ruler of heaven. This name originally started being used, since the 16th century.

Ahm kings come from Myanmar, and their culture was a little different from the Indian tribes. However, after coming to India, they accept the Hindu culture as their own. The local culture they start to take on and patronize its local folk culture. Locals have legends, Ahm Kings are descendants of Devraj Indra. According to the 1901 census, 100 per cent of the people of Assam mentioned themselves as ego. Although looking at the current statistics, it can be understood that 10-25 per cent of the citizens are actually ego. In the Ahm state, those who were ministers used to have 5 important positions. Those are *bark, *bark, *bark, *bark, *bark, *bark. The Barfukan army chief was called.

As said earlier, this ego state lasted about 600 years. This empire was invincible, which means it didn't lose to anyone. Even the Mughals could not beat it. But this empire falls, during the war between British and Myanmar.

Myanmar empire has been attacking continuous ego empire since 1817. In 1821 the Ego Empire went under Myanmar or Burma. After a few years, East India Company beats Burma. This is the time Yandabo contract. East India Company locked Burma on several conditions. One of them was, that Ahm State should be handed over to East India Company. At that time East India Company and Ahm Empire ended with all over Assam.

Previous history is very important i.e. 16 and 17 centuries. Northeast India had some big independent empires at this time. Coach Empire was beside, Adhuna Coachbihar. Bhutan in the north, Jayantia in the south, Manipur east, Kachar in south east and most of India are then under the Mughal Empire. At that time, the undivided Bengal was also under the possession of the Mughals. The relationship between the Mughals and the Ahm Empire was not very good from the beginning, first because the Mughals were in agreement with Kochbihar. And the enmity of ehm with coachbihar lasted long. The second reason, the Mughals wanted to take over North East India. This process has been going on since the period of Akbar. The third reason is to occupy all the fertile lands on the banks of Brahmaputra.

Ever since the Mughals tries to take over the Ego empire, conflict erupts, impacting trade and borders. The main problem started in 1615 due to Cochbihar. That time the fight started in 1682. There are 18 big fights in between. This time the fight begins between two brothers of Kochbihar in or around 1615, and the state is divided into two parts. One brother supports the Mughals, and the other is the ego. After this, the ego and Mughal empire will be named in front of Samar. And that fight continues till 1682. Mughal emperor Aurangzeb could not resist the ego empire even after repeated attacks.

In an episode of Ahm Mughal Fight named in gold letter, is Lachet Barphuken. He was born in 1622. Father was Momai Tamuli. He was Barbarua, that is the administrator of a big area. Lachet is also given training in arts, philosophy, war training and religious rituals. Lachet started leading different armies of the Ahm Empire. Later he became the army chief of the state.

In 1667 Mughals attacked Guwahati and occupied. In 1671 Guwahati again brought Lachet to the ego. That war is written in history as the War of Saraighat. At that time, Lachet was the army chief.

There are many legends surrounded by Lachet, one of them, being during the Saraighat war when he was preparing his army special preparation, his uncle was given the task of building a door for the sake of defence. His uncle didn't complete that task. Trying to see if the work is correct, defense-related work is incomplete, at that time he separated his maternal uncle's head from his body. He gave the message, that there is no family before the country.

One more incident can be heard, once he was injured in the Saraighat war, Lachet becomes bedridden. News, Ahm army was losing in the Saraighat war, at that time they started leading the expedition in the Lachet waterway in a sick state. And said to his fellow warriors, you can leave if you want, I will continue the fight, but King Lachet Barfucken did not back down from his duty.

The first fight started between Mughal and Ahm in 1662. Mughal's huge army team reached Bargaon in 1667. And the ego defeats the king. That time the king of Ahm has to make a joint. Mughal had to pay huge amounts of money and Guwahati too. Basically, the Kamrup area goes under the occupation of the Mughals. After this, Lachet was made the chief of the army, and under his leadership, the ego king attacked Guati again in 1667. And in possession.

When this news goes to Aurangzeb, the king of Amer Ram Singh is sent. He was a Rajput. He was the son of King Jaisingh. An Army team from Rajasthan came to Assam. Mughal attacked Assam in 1669. Chakradhaj Singh was the king of ego at that time. Since the Mughal army was high, Lachet took the conversation strategy first. The real purpose was, to take extra time in hand for war. The fight runs from 1669 to 70, at that time the team of the Ahm army takes the strategy of Guerrilla war. Mughal and Ahm are named face to face after a year and a half war. About 10 thousand army died in this war. The ego after being weak. Die, King Chakradhaj Singh. Mughals take over the Olaboi area.

That time Udaditya Singh's brother of Chakradhwaj became king. He decided the real fight against the Mughals should be fought in Guwahati. Since that area is a hilly area, resistance building will be beneficial. The second thing is, that if you cannot cross Guwahati, it will be difficult to enter the main part of Ahm state. Actually, the mountainous area of Assam was in favour of the ego army. It is almost impossible for the Mughals to fight with horse elephants living in hilly areas. Beside the Brahmaputra river, which is 1 kilometre wide, seven to eight kilometres wide, so that the Mughals would continue fighting on the waterway, there was no power.

Meanwhile, the Mughals deployed King Ram Singh's army, similarly, Subedar Shayesta Khan was sent to Guwahati by the Navy from Bengal. The war begins, and this is the time Lachet Barfukan gets sick. The poets inform us that it will not be right to fight with a sick body. Meanwhile, the ego army is almost monitored by the Mughal army. After receiving this news, Lachet started his naval journey. And the presence of icebergs amidst illness adds extra strength to the ego army. Here is the first boat bridge, Ahm army runs the war.

Where the small boats are made a bridge across the Mughal army attacked the camp. In this war, many commanders of the Mughal army died and 4 thousand soldiers died. The Mughal army falls into a tour. They are forced to retreat unnecessarily. This episode of the War of Saraighat took place in March 1671. Mughal is forced to remove the army from Kamrup next month. One year later in 1672, Lachet Barphukan died. Even after this, the fight continued between Mughal and Ego, sometimes Guwahati, sometimes Itakhuli area occupied by Mughals. That time Lachet's brother Laluk Sola kept working as the army chief. Once again in 1682, there was an extreme fight between the Mughals and Ahm, and the Mughals did not do much benefit. Mughals have not looked at the ego empire since then. The Ego Empire was as an independent state for 200 years until the East India Company took over.

Neutron stars

Neutron stars are the densest objects in the entire universe. They're so dense, in fact, that if they were even a tiny bit denser, they would collapse to become black holes. Neutrons stars are what you get after a giant star (at least 10 times the mass of the Sun) dies. The typical density of neutron stars is around 10^17 kilograms per cubic meter. A thimbleful of neutron star material would weigh more than 100 million tons on the surface of Earth. It is this incredible density that is able to compress neutrons into cube-like shapes.  Neutron stars are one of the most fascinating and extreme objects in the universe, formed from the remnants of massive stars that have undergone a supernova explosion. When a star about 8–20 times the mass of our Sun reaches the end of its life, its core collapses under gravity after exhausting its nuclear fuel. The outer layers are blown away in a spectacular supernova, while the dense core is crushed into a neutron star. This collapse forces proton...
